RikuSage and other fans got this idea from a similar event for Bloodborne, which would go on to be held every year since that title launched in 2015. According to GamesRadar, this event would be titled “Return to Tsushima” and would feature groups of players engaging in Legends mode simultaneously on July 17, the day the game first launched in 2020. This is the idea that Reddit user RikuSage shared on the r/Ghostoftsushima subreddit yesterday - an online meeting of Ghost Of Tsushima fans to honor the game’s release one year ago. Legends allows up to four players to team up against waves of enemies or even bosses using one of four unique character classes. In addition to Ghost Of Tsushima’s well-regarded single-player content, Sucker Punch launched a multiplayer co-op mode a month after the main game was released, titled Legends.
